KOH LIPE- MALDIVES OF THAILAND

• Koh Hin-Ngam – part of the Adang-Rawi archipelago in Thailand. The local call it “magnificent island” / “beautiful stone” / “black stone” island. The stones are all perfectly round shaped by the movement of the sea. It is said that if you make a pile of 12 rocks and make a wish, your wish will come true. There is a legend on these stones, each stones are believed to be cursed by Tarutao’s god and whoever steals the rock from island will be punished.

Koh Adang – part of the marine national park Tarutao in the southernmost part of Thailand near the border to Malaysia. The island is the second biggest and reaches a maximum height of 689m. Adang is surrounded by only few sandy beaches, but a lot of coral reefs and excellent snorkeling and diving sites.

Tarutao 公园的其中一部分,是最靠近泰国与马来西亚边 界的小岛。这座小岛的高度高达了 689 米,是 Tarutao 公园第二大的小岛。

Koh Jabang – the best place to see a rich marine animals and unbelievably beauty soft corals. This place is not like other islands as it is group of pinnacles under the sea where having complete colorful corals. In the sunshine day, Koh Jabang is offering you the best scenery of under waterworld.

这座小岛附近的海水里有很多漂亮的珊瑚和海底生物。在这里,大家 可以观赏到万紫千红的珊瑚和海底生物,特别是在天气晴朗的时候。

Koh Rawi – located northwest of Koh Lipe and is about the size of Koh Adang. Around the island the water is crystal clear and the beach made up of fine white sand.

这座小岛是四座小岛里海水最清晰的小岛。这座小岛的土地被亮白的沙包围着,非常亮丽。

Itinerary:

Day 1(L, D)

Customers must gather at the pick-up point as below:

Penang Island:5.30AM Gather at Penang Kwong Wah Yit Poh HQ and Depart at 6.00AM

Butterworth:6.30AM Gather at Chai Leng Park Caltex

Sungai Petani:7.00AM Gather at Sejati Caltex

Alor Setar:8.00AM Gather at Alor Setar Tol Selatan Next

we will continue 1 ½ hours of journey until we reach Wang Kelian immigration checkpoint whereby each person need to pay RM2 for the Thailand immigration officer to have your passport / border pass to be stamped. No charges needed for the Malaysia custom. Another 1 ½ hours’ journey needed to reach Pak Barra Pier from Wang Kelian custom. At Pak Barra Pier. From Pak Barra to Koh Lipe need around 1 ½ ~ 2 hours. Once you nearly reach Koh Lipe island, the speedboat / ferry will drop you at a floating dock / platform, from there you need to find the staff from the hotel you stay and follow his instruction. Once you reach the island, just check in to your resort and then it will be your lunch time. Other than that it will be your free and easy time. You can go hang out at the Walking Street in search for food and Thai massage.

Day 2(B,L)

After breakfast, around 9.00 ~ 9.30am (Thai Time), prepare yourself and aboard the long tail boat that awaits in front of the respective resort. Below will be the snorkeling spot / island that you will be going (depends on weather, sea current and tides, the snorkeling trip might have changes).

After that you will be having your packed lunch at Koh Rawi and you will have around 1 hour to eat and swim at the nearby beach. After the snorkelling trip, the boat will take you back to the Koh Lipe Island. You can continue your own free and easy leisure activities once you reach the island.

Day 3(B)

After morning breakfast, 9.00am (Thai Time) need to prepare for check out and return back to Pak Barra Pier. After you have reach Pak Barra Pier, we will pick you up and take you to go for lunch at Tesco Lotus which will be around 50mins ~ 1hour journey. You have around 1 hour at Tesco Lotus to have lunch and shopping time. After that, you will be head back to Wang Kelian immigration checkpoint to get your passport / border pass stamped and transfer back to your hometown.
